Meet Robyn

Robyn, a single mother, has faced life-altering challenges in the past year. In September 2022, she received a stage 2 breast cancer diagnosis, completely shaking the foundation of her healthy and vibrant life. As a working mother, the fear of not being there for her son and the uncertainty of their future weighed heavily on her. In February, she embarked on a challenging journey of chemotherapy, causing a leave of absence from work. Financial strain, compounded by a reduced income during her short-term disability, forced her to make the difficult decision to sell her house, introducing yet another major change for herself and her son. Despite these hardships, Robyn embraces the challenge of starting anew. Free rent for a year would provide Robyn with the opportunity to regain stability sooner than expected.
